The stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 1,900 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 32 trips to carry that many people.

Just a quick post to thank everyone. Today is the single highest number of page views for MOASTBFFG (108 and counting) and we also crossed the 9,000 page view mark.

Thank you all so much for your support.

The stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 5,600 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 9 years to get that many views.

I mentioned that I write for Enjoying the Magic in addition to my scribblings here. The latest piece I did for them is available for reading. It’s a bit on the Carolwood Pacific Historical Society.

Check it out here!

Finally made a change to the site today that’s been in the offing for a month.

I added a page of photographic evidence  chronicalling my weight difficulties over the years. There are very few of my completely orca fat moments… to call me camera shy would be an understatement. As things progress, I’ll add photos to document my progress.

The countdown continues

Actually, it’s around 4,975. With luck it’ll make 5,000 by midnight. When I started this little endeavor in May, 2010, I had no idea it would catch on at all. I wasn’t doing much to publicize the blog, just putting it out there for people to read. Things really picked up upon the blog’s rebirth. Was it due to better writing? Probably not. Better design? Maybe. For whatever reason, it just picked up.

I call it a rebirth… it’s more like a refocus. I was just dancing around… dabbling at it. This was my first attempt at an online presence and I think it showed.

So, I just wanted to thank you all for helping MOASTBFFG reach 5,000 views. I hope that it’s been worth the read. I’ve certainly enjoyed writing it.

Well, the surprise party weekend is done with, so I can back to more of a regular posting schedule. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I should have a real post ready to go sometime today.

The next few days

Greetings everyone…

I’ve got a ton of stuff on deck over the next few days, so there will most likely be some interruptions in my posting schedule. I’ll try to maintain what I’ve been doing, but I’m not sure I will have quite enough time.

No interruptions like the last time when I was out of circulation for a year or so.

Until then, friends… be well.
